Spiced Nuts

8 cups large pecans
(halves)
2 egg white (I use jumbo)
2 T water
1 cup sugar
1/2 t nutmeg
(ground)
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 t
salt
1/4 t ground cloves
Beat one egg white until foamy. Add water and beat to soft peaks. Add nuts and stir until coated.
In a separate bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and cloves. Pour dry ingredients over nuts and toss gently to cover.
Spread on a cookie sheet and bake @ 300º for 30 minutes, stirring often. Remove and place on waxed paper to cool.
