Kay's 24 Hour Egg Omelet

5 slices of bread

4 Eggs, slightly beaten

2 C half and half or cream

¾ lb Longhorn Cheese, shredded

½ t salt

dash each of cayenne and dry mustard

Remove crust from bread and cut into 1 inch pieces and place in bottom of a greased 9x9 baking dish. Spread cheese over bread. Combine eggs, cream, salt, pepper and mustard and pour over cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake, covered, at 325º for 50-60 minutes. Uncover for last 5 minutes of baking time. Serves 6.
